2.) Most of the reviews I received were positive, but a couple people said that I should look up as many facts as I can to back up my points. I am glad that people said to look up more facts because I do not know if I would have realized that without the feedback.
3.) I have most of my elevator pitch memorized by now so that has helped me a lot, which makes me more comfortable in front of the camera. Based on the feedback I was given I looked up what other people have had to say about the dorms at the University of Florida and it confirmed what I had originally thought. So, I added my research into my elevator pitch.

21A- Reading Reflection
1.) The book I read was Coco Chanel An Intimate Life by Lise Chaney. The general theme of this book was that even though there are many obstacles in life if you chose to persevere you can achieve your goal. The book describes the life of Gabrielle (Coco) Chanel and how she went from a rough childhood after the loss of her mother to a successful and independent woman.
2.) When someone is trying to start their own business or be an entrepreneur in any way, there are going to be many struggles and I think that this book is in line with that. In this class we have discussed the many hardships entrepreneurs have to go through to become successful and this book is a great example of that.
3.) If I had to design an exercise for this class that was based on the book I would chose one that involves each student writing down their goals for the next ten years. This way students can go back and read these goals no matter what obstacles they are facing and keep moving forward to achieve their goals.
4.) The biggest surprise I encountered when reading this book was when I realized how many struggles Coco Chanel really went through and how independent she was through it all. She believed in herself and her work enough to get herself through these struggles alone and that was very interesting to read about.

20-A Growing Your Social Capital
1.) Sierra Molina is a Resident Assistant at the University of Florida. She has much experience with the housing department and has much knowledge on this topic.
2.) Sierra is filling the role of a domain expert. She has lots of contacts within the housing department and will be a great contact to have.
3.) Sierra is the resident assistant on my floor, so I see her multiple times a day.
4.) She offers a contact to reach out to if I am in need of someone within the housing department.
5.) Knowing Sierra exploits an opportunity because the more people I know within the housing the department the more of an impact I will be able to make.
1.) Ian Kochevar is the area coordinator for the Broward area dorm facilities, which could make him a very influential person in my business idea.
2.) Mr. Kochevar would be filling the role of market expert. Since he is so involved in the housing department he would be a great resource that knows a lot about how the housing system works.
3.) I have received emails from him regarding events and activities going on in the Broward area, so I did some research and found out his position. Since I already had his email I used it to email him.
4.) I expect to have have a contact higher within the housing department and have someone to advise me on how the department works.
5.) Having another person to discuss my business idea with will be a great resource to have while continuing this venture.
1.) Kelsey Kramer is a student who currently lives in a dorm at the University of Florida.
2.) Since my business idea is more based on helping others and not profit based I chose a student living in an on campus dorm because they are paying to live in these facilities.
3.) Kelsey lives on my floor, so I have known her for quite some time and I see her frequently.
4.) Kelsey would be able to speak to individuals in the housing department and explain how the living conditions could be improved.
5.) Having someone else to speak about the living conditions would greatly help in persuading others to get involved in this business plan.
After speaking are reaching out to so many people it will make the next time much easier. Now I will also have many contacts in the housing department that will help me get my business idea off the ground. I also found someone who will be able to advocate for my idea.

19A-Idea Napkin
1.) In regards to my business idea I think I have some specific qualities that allow me to understand where this issue stems from. I am currently living in a dorm at the University of Florida and many of my friends also live in dorms, which gives me some insight that others may not have. I have personally experience what it is like to live in dorms and know what would make this experience more enjoyable.
2.) Many of the dorm buildings at the University are old and in need of renovations. My business idea would help raise money and awareness to help improve the living conditions in these facilities. With a combination of tabling and fundraisers I think this is a very doable task that will benefit many people.
3.) My potential customers would be current or incoming students living in an on campus dorm at the University of Florida. Many of these students will be freshman adjusting to life away from home.
4.) These students will care because this dorm is where they are going to be spending many hours and they are going to want to be comfortable in their new living environment. First year students will especially needs somewhere where they feel safe and secure.
5.) Something that sets me apart from other from other people is my experience with this matter. Although I will not be living in a dorm next year I still think this is an issue that needs to be resolved for new students and the university overall.
I think that with all these factors combined that my business idea will be a successful one. I have personally experienced this issue and have interviewed many other students who feel the same way. I believe that if more awareness is brought to this problem that it can be resolved.
As for the feedback that I was given, I incorporated how my business idea is more set up to help other people rather than for a profit. This business idea will help students feel more comfortable in their living environments.

2.)The feedback I received from my last elevator pitch was that I had a lot of good ideas, so I decided to expand more on those ideas during my elevator pitch. I thought that feedback was useful and helped improve my performance overall.
3.)Based on the feedback given I went into more detail based on my original ideas. I think this helped me explain more of why my ideas formed and how they are going to help future students and the school
