Existing Market:
After interviewing customers within my market I received much positive feedback. Some of the customers I interviewed said that they thought the fund raisers were something that needs to be put into place since this is such a huge undertaking. They thought fundraisers would make the university more likely to pursue this venture. They also said they thought this was something that was greatly needed and something that will benefit incoming students and the university overall.
New Market:
For the new category I chose third and fourth year students who are not living on campus. These students are not directly effected by these changes. Although, after their interviews I realized there are ways they are effected. They want the reputation of their school to be as positive as possible and the renovations of dorm buildings would help with that. If the dorms are newly renovated then it will make the campus more appealing to visitors and current students.
