I think that by this point in the semester that I have developed a more entrepreneurial mindset. At the beginning of this class I was unsure of what that exactly meant, but at this point I think I have a better understanding. I have also been able to think more like an entrepreneur in my everyday life.
My recommendation for other students would be to keep up with the assignments even if they get frustrated because there is much to be taken from this class. Also, watching the videos is an important step, especially for the cupcakes. If future students try to keep up with the videos and assignments, they should be able to get a lot out of this class.
Good work this semester, Madelyn. I, too, will remember the elevator pitches, they’re not the kind of thing you see in every class. I also agree that keeping up with the assignments and even getting ahead is key because they can pile up quickly and ruin a Friday night real quick. Best of luck in future semesters here at UF.
ReplyDeleteHi Madelyn! I think it's really great that you were able to get so much out of this class and I agree with you that the elevator pitches definitely stuck out from all of the other assignments in this class. Your advice was really good as well, the assignments pile up really fast if you don't keep track. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI think that is pretty interesting that you found the elevator pitches to be the most memorable. That is awesome that you saw improvements throughout each one. These will be so important once you go out and are in need of funding for your ventures, so I think that it is great that this assignment granted us all this opportunity. I too also think that I developed my entrepreneurial mindset throughout this course.
ReplyDeleteHey Madelyn, the elevator pitches were also the most memorable for me! I could also see the improvement throughout each video even though speaking in front of a "crowd" is also not one of my strengths. Also because it was one of the assignments that required us to dress up so that made it even more memorable.
